Car bursts into flames after crash in Ripley

Firefighters were called to Lowes Hill at about 12.30pm on Monday.

Upon arrival they found a car “well alight” following a collision.

Crews extinguished the flames and a casualty was treated by paramedics, a spokesman for Derbyshire fire service said.
