Hide AdParker’s solicitor Kirsty Sargent told magistrates he had relapsed into drug misuse after the relationship with his mother broke down and he and his long-term partner parted ways.
She said: “For the first time in a long time Mr Parker is alone, has relapsed and these offences occurred.
“It’s a sorry situation that he finds himself in prison and facing a custodial sentence.”
Parker, appearing via prison videolink, admitted four counts of theft, failing to comply with a community order, committing a further offence while serving a suspended sentence and failing to surrender to bail.
