Thief stole four pairs of Calvin Klein shoes from Chesterfield TK Maxx
and live on Freeview channel 276
Romeo Ion, 47, was stopped by staff who saw him leaving the shop after putting the shoes - worth £141.97 - into a carrier bag on July 9.
Chesterfield Magistrates Court heard another male was seen with him at the time of the theft.

Hide AdHowever prosecutor Becky Allsop said after his arrest Romanian national Ion told police he was “not pressured into taking the items”.
Ms Allsop said: “He apologised for the theft but didn’t want to answer any more questions.”
The court heard all of the shoes were recovered after Ion was caught.
Magistrates were told at the time of the theft Ion was still serving a 12-month conditional discharge for stealing £187 worth of goods from Tesco.

Hide AdIon, who had no legal representation, told the court through an interpreter he travelled to Chesterfield after having an argument with his wife.
The 47-year-old carwash worker told magistrates: “I’m sorry - it won’t happen again.”
Ion, of Cambridge Road, Hounslow, admitted theft from a shop.
He was fined £320 and made to pay £85 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
