A major route between Chesterfield and Dronfield was closed yesterday – with police recovering a crashed vehicle.
On Friday, August 12, Derbyshire Police closed the southbound carriageway of the A61 Dronfield Bypass at Bowshaw.
The Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit later revealed that this was to allow for the recovery of a luxury car which had crashed a few days previously.

After around 90 minutes, the car had been removed and the route was reopened.
