Police issue warning to residents in North Derbyshire town about people trying to sell mattresses

Dronfield Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) issued a message to people in the town today (Wednesday, August 18) urging them to remain cautious.
While officers admitted that they are “sure there is nothing wrong” with those knocking on houses in Dronfield trying to sell mattresses, they warned that there were “better” ways to retail bedding.

Hide AdPolice reminded residents to not “feel pressured” into purchasing a mattress.
In a post on Facebook, the force wrote: “Dronfield SNT would like to make people in the area aware of people doing house to house, trying to sell mattresses.
"Although we are sure there is nothing wrong with them, there are better ways to sell/buy them.
"Please do not feel pressured into buying one if you don't want to/need one.”
