MURDER PROBE: Pair in court
Two people have appeared in court today charged with the murder of a man in South Normanton.
Leon Lockhart, 31, and Michaela Griffiths, 24, both of Carter Lane East, South Normanton, were charged yesterday with the murder of 32-year-old Daniel Baker, of Derby, who died on Friday.
The suspects spoke only to confirm their names and addresses during the hearing at Chesterfield magistrates’ court.
The pair remain in custody and are due to appear in court in Nottingham tomorrow morning.
