A new service has been launched by Chesterfield Royal Hospital to help put a smile on patients’ faces.
With visits currently suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Royal has started an initiative called Letter Of Love which allows people to send a message to a loved one in hospital to show them they care.
A Royal spokesperson explained: “It’s a really hard time for our patients and their relatives at the moment.
