£5,000 boost for Peak rescue teams

Derbyshire’s Chief Constable Mick Creedon and Police and Crime Commissioner Alan Charles have donated £5,000 to the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation.

The organisation, which consists of seven mountain rescue teams, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

The money will be used for a range of purposes including training costs, kit and vehicle maintenance.
