Ripley pupils reap the rewards of full attendance records with fun-packed activity day
More than 160 studious children from six schools in the area enjoyed a day of making campfires, toasting marshmallows, jumping through hoops and blowing giant bubbles at Riddings Junior School.
All pupils have an attendance target of 97 per cent, encouraging good habits and attitudes to learning from an early age.
