Three-legged dog rescued from Cromford river bank
Firefighters have rescued a three-legged dog who had gotten stuck on a river bank.
Firefighters from Wirksworth rescued the Jack Russell from the river bank on Cromford Meadows, Cromford.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: "The crew were able to reach down and rescue the dog, which was then handed back into the care of its owner."
They rescued the dog yesterday (Friday, October 5).
