On Saturday Chesterfield will face a man who could have become their manager earlier this season, but instead took over Barnet and could yet lead them to League Two safety.

Martin Allen was keen on the Spireites job before the now-departed Jack Lester was appointed last September, and became the Bees boss for the fifth time in March.
