The Bear has just great atmosphere, being built in the 1730s and its Sunday carvery is fantastic value - with a great selection of meats and all the trimmings. Their steak offering is fabulous - with fat, hand-cut chips, huge onion rings, salad, homemade coleslaw, tomatoes and mushrooms. They’re also generous with the portions, so work up an appetite.
